Hi, I’m Brianna Martinez.

I’m a Mexican-American visual artist raised in Southern Texas and currently based in Tennessee. My work lives at the intersection of joy, culture, and resistance.

Rooted in my experience as a young Hispanic woman, my practice explores how family, memory, time, and place shape who we are and how we relate to one another.

Whether I’m working digitally or painting on a canvas, my process begins with a moment that inspires me—a color, a story, a feeling, unfolding it with care and intention. I aim to cultivate work that makes people laugh, pause, and feel seen. I create for those who are tender, observant, deeply feeling, and still carrying a sense of childhood wonder.

Ultimately, I believe joy is an act of resistance, and laughter a form of healing.
